The problem

Assistants built around one-off questions lose the thread of what a person is actually trying to finish. Work moves between tools, and the context behind a request has to be explained again every time it is picked back up.

What we built

Agent is an assistant built around a task rather than a message. It holds on to the goal, the steps already taken and the material involved, and can call on tools to read, summarise or draft along the way. The conversation serves the work instead of becoming the work, and the assistant’s reasoning is surfaced so a suggestion can be understood and corrected.
